Where Schminkspecialist started
Schminkspecialist, a leading supplier of theatrical makeup and beauty products, faced the challenge of replacing their existing Logic4 environment with a scalable and future-proof platform. With a range of more than 500,000 items and high demands for performance and continuity, the company was looking for a partner that could guarantee a flawless migration.
Schminkspecialist sells face paint, glitter gel, colored lenses and party products online. The store came from Logic4 and needed a new Shopify base for a catalog of more than 500,000 items.

The challenge
The old system (Logic4) no longer met the demands for scalability and user-friendliness. Schminkspecialist ran into issues like: • Outdated UI: Logic4 runs as a Windows application, not in the cloud • All changes are bespoke and therefore come with high development costs • Mediocre SEO structures
The solution
Syncer® delivered a seamless switch to Shopify. During the project all essential data was continuously synchronised so the store stayed online and customers barely noticed the migration. Beyond the online environment, Syncer® also delivered the full POS migration, so shop and store run fully in sync with external stock locations through a fulfilment integration.
