The story

Where Gereedschappelijk started

Gereedschappelijk.nl decided to take their store to the next level and chose, together with Syncer®, to switch to Shopify. The old platform offered too little room to grow, while Shopify opens up opportunities for expansion, better customer experiences and more efficient management. Thanks to this step, Gereedschappelijk.nl is better positioned to respond to growing demand and offer their customers a future-proof store.

The public case says the growing store needed more ease of use, better filters and a smoother ordering process. Lightspeed offered too little for those ambitions, so the team chose Shopify Plus as a new foundation.

  2. 02More ease of use for customers
  3. 03Better filters and a smoother ordering process
  4. 04A foundation for future integrations and markets

For Gereedschappelijk.nl it became clear that the old platform could no longer keep up with their ambitions. The store was growing fast and customers asked for more ease of use, better filters and a smooth ordering process. Lightspeed offered too little here, making the choice for a new foundation inevitable.

Shopify gave Gereedschappelijk.nl the chance to get more out of the store. The platform provides a stable foundation and a broad ecosystem to easily realise integrations and extensions: think a faster checkout, improved product presentation and the flexibility to enter new markets in the future.

For Gereedschappelijk.nl the migration meant more than just a technical project. The goal was to deliver a store that is ready for the future. With Shopify, they can respond to customer needs faster and expand the range without technology getting in the way.
