More than 86 years of hairdressing wholesale


It was May 1939 when 18-year-old Koos van der Beek started and converted the garage at the back of his parents’ garden into a warehouse. A warehouse that would later grow into one of the oldest and friendliest hairdressing wholesalers in the Netherlands.

The approach: self-served with Syncer


Koosvanderbeek.nl wanted to leave the limitations of Lightspeed behind and was looking for a more flexible and scalable solution. Shopify offers the freedom to work with an extensive ecosystem of apps and integrations, without being locked into one platform.

As the very first client, Koosvanderbeek.nl chose a self-served migration using the Syncer onboarding dashboard. The data migration of no less than 134,321 items was carried out by Syncer, after which Koosvanderbeek.nl took on the full setup and optimisation of the new Shopify store themselves.
