Are you a project manager with strong Shopify knowledge and a product mindset?

At Syncer we guide e-commerce companies through their migration to Shopify. But we do more than just run projects — we’re building a scalable product.

That’s why we’re looking for someone who not only safeguards planning, but also thinks about how processes can be smarter, more consistent and better.

As a Project / E-Commerce Manager you’re responsible for successfully guiding Shopify migrations. You’re the dedicated point of contact for clients and you safeguard planning, scope and quality.

At the same time, you look beyond the individual project. You think in standards, repeatable flows and optimisations. What is done manually today may become part of our product tomorrow.

You understand how Shopify works — themes, apps, data structure, collections and integrations. You don’t need to code, but you have to be substantively strong enough to ask sharp questions and make the right choices.

You combine structure with ownership. You spot improvements and act on them.

  • What will you be doing?

    • Guide Shopify migrations from intake to go-live
    • First point of contact for clients
    • Draft and safeguard planning
    • Coordinate with development and external partners
    • Advise on Shopify setup and choices
    • Identify risks and bottlenecks
    • Translate project learnings into structural improvements
    • Contribute to optimisation of our product and migration flows
    • Safeguard scope, budget and quality
  • What do you bring?

    • At least 3-5 years of project management experience within e-commerce
    • Demonstrable Shopify experience
    • Product-focused mindset: you think in scalability and standardisation
    • Strong organisational and communication skills
    • Experience with project management tools such as ClickUp or similar
    • Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously
    • Proactive and solution-oriented attitude
  • Nice-to-haves

    • Experience with Shopify (Plus)
    • Knowledge of migrations from Magento, WooCommerce or Lightspeed
    • Basic knowledge of APIs and data structures
    • Experience within SaaS or product-driven organisations
    • Comfortable with AI tools for planning and process optimisation

These are the languages you speak fluently. In addition to spoken Dutch and English (fluid)
