3.4 Structured data — keeping rich results after the move

Many e-commerce stores have earned rich results in Google Search: star ratings, price information, availability badges. These come from structured data (Schema.org markup) embedded in the page HTML. When you migrate to a new platform, structured data markup needs to be replicated in the new templates.

Shopify themes include basic Product schema out of the box, but organisation-level markup, BreadcrumbList schema, FAQ schema for category pages, and custom review aggregates need deliberate implementation.
